STUDYING AT MONKEYLAND

To believe, that is the statement of the Church of the Martial Arts.

But, how to believe...what to believe...those are the questions.

Reading the materials (Prologue, Neutronics, etc.) will give you the answers to those questions.

Following is the hierarchical structure of Monkeyland.

Those who wish to pursue the Martial Arts, but not religiously, should go to Monster Martial Arts. You will find complete courses on Matrixing there, and there is no religious inflection.

Take the next step only when you are ready.

A Postulant is somebody exploring the beliefs of the Church. This includes a study of Matrixing and Neutronics as presented at Monkeyland.

    Postulant means ‘to ask.’

To become a Postulant one need merely read ‘Prologue,’ ‘Neutronics,’ and  ‘The Neutronic Viewpoint.’ These books will acquaint the postulant with the beliefs of the church in a manner that is not intrusive, and the postulant may move forward if he is so inclined.

A Novitiate (novice) is somebody who has actually begun practicing the actual martial arts of the Church.

This means they have read the books, and are actively practicing Martial Arts in connection with the courses offered at Monster Martial Arts.

When the Novitiate is ready, he may contact an Abbot and apply for instruction, and thus become a monk.

A Monk is somebody who is actively studying The Martial Arts under an Abbot of Monkeyland.

Obviously, Monks must live in the vicinity of Monkeyland, or be studying with an Abbot ordained by the Church, and who is in good standing with The Church.

An Abbot is normally somebody who has been a Postulant, a Novitiate, and a Monk, and who is engaged in teaching Matrixing and Neutronics in accordance with the wishes and dictates of The Church.

A Friend of Monkeyland, is anybody who has donated time, money, advice, or any effort towards the establishment and perpetuation of Monkeyland.
